Is this standard?

I had an ultrasound at almost 9 weeks. Thankfully, the doctor found a strong heartbeat immediately. I am now 10.5 weeks and my next appt. is to go over prenatal care/ do a doppler to check in on the heartbeat. This will happen when I’m almost 12 weeks. Do these steps seem pretty standard? This is my first baby. We won’t have another ultrasound until around 20 weeks.

If you opt for an NT scan for your genetic testing, you will have an ultrasound sooner. Otherwise, 20 weeks is standard for the next one. Did your doc not give you an overview of what to expect at each appointment? If not, you can ask and they should tell you

Yes, they are standard. I had my first appt confirming pregnancy at 6w with ultrasound and then 11wks had my first prenatal appt. at that appt they did a lot of test(blood,urine,womanly exam), history, and fetal Doppler. Since the heart beat was still not strong enough to get a solid read I actually got a surprise ultrasound! I believe my next ultrasound will be around the 20 week mark unless they do the anatomy scan earlier.
