what are your thoughts on plastic surgery and feminism?
i’m constantly torn between “you’re a feminist so fight the standards of society”
&
“you’re a feminist, it’s okay to change yourself if you please”
i also know it’s hypocritical because i don’t want my kids to feel that way and want to alter their bodies but i really want botox, a boob job, and my hips done. ugh. what are your thoughts? NOT ON ME GETTING SURGERY. that is my personal battle, just on the idea of being a feminist and getting surgery.
