Laparoscopy???

So my gynecologist has diagnosed me with PCOS and i have a few fibroids as well. She had suggested about 6months ago that their is a high possiblity of me also have endometriosis, she suggested the laparoscopy to definitely say yes or no. At the time I was very very worried about creating extra scarring because I have struggled with infertility for the last 2 years. I was just wondering if any of your lives have changed in a positive way after having the surgery to diagnose or if it just gave a name to the problem at hand?
