Period for a month?!?

So I started taking the pill about a month ago and I’ve been on almost a regular period day ever since. I bleed every single day, at night, everything... for a month. And I’m tired of it tbh. I’m thinking about just stopping, waiting for it to get out of my system and then getting the IUD a few months later. I’ve only been on this crap for a month and I’m tired of the side effects and just taking it in general. What should I do and has anyone else experienced bleeding on birth control for a long period of time?
