I’m in love with my ex 😞

My ex and I have had this extremely emotional rollercoaster for the past 4 months because our feelings about one another keep changing. We were best friends for 5 years, then we dated for 4 years, and now we’re best friends again. But when we initially broke up we did both feel mutually about the break up. There was absolutely no beef, we still wanted to be best friends and hang out and everything, but we just knew that we shouldn’t had been together any longer at that particular time. But then things changed. Not even 2 weeks in, his feelings changed. Then my feelings changed. Then his feelings changed again. And now my feelings have changed again. As of right now, he’s expressed to me that he feels that we’re growing apart. I understand that 1,000% because I’ve grown apart with someone before so I know how that feels but I don’t feel mutual. I’m actually falling in love with him again. And it sucks because he feels the complete opposite. My ex and I have always had this EXTREME telepathy. You’d think we were twins or something so we usually feel mutual when we have to discuss something serious. But in our whole relationship, this is the one thing that we have yet to feel mutual about. What does that mean? Are we meant to be? Are we not? Are we truly growing apart? What’s happening with us? Everyone close to us keeps telling us that we’re right for one another, yet the timing is just wrong. I could accept that if my ex didn’t feel as if he no longer sees absolutely no future with me.
