What do Braxton-Hicks feel like for you (plus sizes specifically)?

I’m not getting an answer anywhere. I have been told what they’re like for smaller people but I am a size 18 with lots of extra meat and would like to know what people like me experience during this time. Help?

I’m the same size as you & have lower tummy fat too. I’ve been having Braxton Hicks just like you explained-cramping at the upper part of my belly & I’ve had it on my right side as well. Hope this helps!

My doctor told me it will feel like squeezing. She said it will feel uncomfortable, but shouldn’t be painful. She said if I start having them to track them because I shouldn’t be having more than 4 in an hour. If I’m having too many she said that’s the body’s way of telling you you’re doing too much and to slow it down. Lie down if they’re getting too intense. And call if they’re not stopping. Ive been having Braxton Hicks since well before my 20 week ultrasound. I had one so bad during my ultrasound they had to stop and wait it out.

i just had my first the other day i think...and it was this weird tight feeling inside my stomach felt the same amount of tightness outside...but inside was ughhh tight and uncomfortable for a good 30- 40 sec. then it was good for the rest of the nifht...so uncomfotable, disnt hurt just odd. lol ...idk id that helps i had to call my sister on my break to see if thats what it was
