Question

My boyfriend & I just had sex and he happened to cum in me. I took my birth control pill this morning so would that take affect for this mishap? I’m also starting my period this week so I don’t have a real birth control pill to take tomorrow to protect me.
Or should I take a plan b pill?
Edit: Also, I didn’t take it on time I was a few hours later than normal.
