Does anyone else’s baby get something like this it’s also in his head I can’t get it to go away I’ve tried everything I can’t get him into the doctor for the next two weeks so I wanted some options and ways to try and help it as much as I can

It's just dry skin and cradle cap. Try using coconut oil or aquaphor and make him an appointment if it doesn't get better.

If you’re breastfeeding (and have enough extra) add some breast milk into his bath, I read about that on here and it was game changing for my son. I add a bag (5-6oz) into the bath when I bathe him and it’s been amazing. I also switched soaps Johnson & Johnson was drying out his skin terribly, I use Shea Moisture and it is amazing. Before the milk and the new soap my baby had spots where it was dry and peeling but now he has the softest skin ever.

just put some coconut oil on it 15 to 20 minute before a bath but before the oil use a baby brush rub in circles on the area he will more than likely hate it but it works helps to break it up but after put oil on then bathe him he will be OK

I agree with dry skin and cradle cap. Part of the reason could be that after bath he is not being dried off enough in the folds of his skin. That can also cause the skin to get irritated and dry as well. Coconut oil works wonders! Put some on the spots at least once a day and it should get better on its own.

My son had this when he was little, it’s cradle cap. My pediatrician said it’s not harmful, and it goes away typically when they’re older. He told us to keep his hair moisturized with oil, wash his hair and the spots with dandruff shampoo.

I’ve started putting breast milk on his head an neck am rubbing it in and then letting it dry then I go over it with baby oil and a soft brush and it’s still exactly the same but his scalp is super irritated he’s getting similar spots on his back and sides but only in certain areas
