Brown spotting normal?

I’m a little over 5 weeks and I’m spotting brown just a little each time I wipe since Saturday although it’s been more frequent today. I don’t have any cramps however I feel a decrease in pregnancy symptoms today. I’m freaking out praying that this is normal and everything will be okay. This happen to anyone before?

Update - called my OB and they didn’t act concerned but also didn’t give me any information. They just said I was still very early in my pregnancy and we could test my progesterone levels, I think. Anyways now sitting in the lab waiting to get blood drawn. Feeling better I guess but still don’t feel like I know anything more. Anyways, thank you for all your responses! I like this community and am glad I have somewhere to go with questions and worries!

it's normal!! brown is old blood. your body is flushing out everything old in preparation for the next 8/9 months! I fired spotted for 5 days around 4w. as normal as it is, it's still frightening so try to relax!

Not to freak you out just stating what happened to me. That’s how I began to bleed for 2 days , the next dayS I went to get an US and i was beginning to miscarry from a missed miscarriage

that was normal for me. i felt like i had brown spotting for about 10 days! it is fine. if it is bright pink or bright red, then you should see the dr.
