Really light & short period

So my af this month was super light & very short. It came on aug.1st and a couple days before I had brown very light spotting only when I wiped. Well the beginning of my period it was very light brown pinkish spotting it what I would call it because was never enough to fill a regular size tampon. Day two was a little heavier at night but same thing during the day very light & the rest of the days was super light didn’t even have to wear a tampon for the rest only spotting a little when wiping and brown again. Is there a reason my cycle could have changed? I’ve been off of bc since end of May and all my prior periods were regular normal nothing like this one. This month before I started my period I had the light brown spotting hoping it was implantion bleeding!! Weird my period was so short and light.
