White privilege

What’s your take on it?

Personally....

I think it’s very much a thing. From childhood, I noticed a difference coming from a mixed family. (Mother is Mexican and dad is white) My grandma on my dads side treated my cousins waaaayy better who had both white patents. She secluded me and my brothers and mom at family events. I had it in my head at a young age I’d never get to go to college or really do much because I wasn’t white and my family didn’t have that kind of money.

This is all me during elementary school age before I even knew white privilege was a thing.
