Early Labor?

What were your signs/experiences when you first started going into labor/the days leading up? Im currently almost 36 weeks and i had an off the paper scan about 2 weeks ago due to my aunt being a radiologist and the baby was measuring about 35 weeks, 5-5.5 lbs.. i told my dr of this at last apt but she decided to stick with the estimated date off my very first scan. If it is early labor could i request a scan to see how baby is progressed ect to avoid medications if not necessary? Im trying to do all natural but of course if its absolutely needed, i wont decline. Just would like to have a proper check to avoid if not needed.. Last on paper scan was almost 2.5 months ago.. opinions and advice is much appreciated💜
