Is there a possibility of redemption?

So.... work with this guy, that everyone said was into me. So then I was pretty confident, and i shot my shot by asking him to hang out through IG and he said he had plans that day, but for sure another day. So then I was like OK.

A few days later DM him again and ask “he do you have plans tonight” and he responded “no I have work” and I said “okay” and he never responded. Then tonight I we were walking together and I awkwardly asked him AGAIN... and he said that he doesn’t know his schedule and he will message me when he knows

I don’t even like this guy that much. I have no idea why all of a sudden I’ve turned into a balzy crazy person!

(He just got dumped, but I didn’t know that)

Can you please help me find peace? Cause right now I can’t live with how insensitive and rejected I feel.
