Booking appointment and scan?!

Question

I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant and I’m 9 weeks 3 days I’ve just rang my local midwifes to make a booking appoint, I couldn’t get one for another 2 weeks so I’ll be basically 12 weeks when I go to my appointment.
Will I have all my booking appointment and scan in one day? Or would I have to go back for the scan? It makes sense to me to have it all in one but I’m not sure what’ll happen.
I’m in the uk as well if that makes any different

They’re 2 different appointments. It may be that your midwife appointment is at the hospital where you would have a scan (quite rare though) but the midwife refers you to have your scan at a later date in my experience. 
My appointment was quite late like yours and they will probably request an urgent scan appointment so you can have all the tests if you want them. The Down’s syndrome one for example is needed before 13 weeks I think so may be worth asking your midwife

Unlikely . Your midwife appt will probably be at a children's centre. Your scan at a hospital. You might not get the scan until closer to 14 weeks.
