who else eats lunch meat while pregnant?

every time I'm pregnant I CRAVE turkey subs. I wanna cry bc I want it so bad! but there's always that rule that we can't eat lunch meat....ugh!!!

its such an outdated "rule" . most cases of Listeria in recent years were caused by veggies not lunch meat. I just had jimmy johns for lunch today , have been eating them my entire pregnancy . I'm 32 weeks now and so far everything has been fine :)

It's just like before you are pregnant and after, don't eat rotten food, questionable food, unpalatable food, etc. I ate everything pregnant, eggs, coffee, deli meat cold and hot, sushi, whatever. Tons of cheese and chocolate. 🐭😂

I just heat up in the skillet for a minute before putting it on my sandwich 🤷‍♀️ kills any listeria that might be there.

There’s no reason to not eat lunch meat. You’re more likely to get listeria from produce
