I do. If you are using powdered formula - it’s the formula that’s not sterile. By adding boiling water to the powder you’re sterilizing it. I prefer to use distilled water so not to add any additional minerals to the formula.

I always buy the 6 pack purified water gallons and boil it every time. That’s basically what nursery water is.

We did up until a little after 6 mths. Doctor said we could stop after 4 mths, but we took it as long as the original lactation consultant at the hospital told us. It’s the powdered formula that is not sterile. It has nothing to do with the water. Good luck!

I never did, because I never needed water for formula. I always have my daughter the ready to feed formula,  that doesnt get water added to it.
