high wbc

I'm 27 weeks and my wbc is high, like almost 20 when 11 is the range normally. I know it can be somewhat elevated during pregnancy but that just seems excessive. My obgyn said he isn't very concerned because apparently it elevated some during my first pregnancy as well, but at the same time he printed all my labs for me to take to my nephrologist later this month, and wants to see me right after seeing her. Just curious if anyone had any similar experiences. I know I shouldn't Google....lol.
