What does implantation bleeding look like??

So I’m 5 days late and i thought i was getting my period 3 days ago but instead it was just like mucus with like a little blood and it stopped it would only happen when I whipped. Could that be implantation bleeding?

Typically implantation bleeding only happens on one day, and is usually very light just when you wipe - there's not normally a need for sanitary protection. However it can last for up to 2-3 days. 
It's normally very small amounts, real light pink/brown in colour.
Do you know when you ovulated other than what the app is telling you?
If the bleeding happened 3 days ago then a test should be accurate if taken now with first morning pee..... good luck!

implantation does not always last for more than a day. I had implantation bleeding and it was light pink discharge or blood whatever you want to call it and only happened when I wiped. it was super light though and no need for a pad but I thought it was my period starting bc it was around the time my period would come so I put on a pad anyway. later that day when I went to use the restroom the pad was completely dry and I wasn't bleeding anymore. I tested two days later bc my period never came and boom it was very positive.
