Gallbladder

So two days ago after the most painful attack of my life that ended in vomiting from the pain level and a trip to the hospital via ambulance cause they thought I was in labour they've discovered my gallbladder decided not to work anymore.. they said if I have one more attack I dont get a choice it's coming out before I deliver. Otherwise they want to send me to surgery as soon as I deliver.. what would you do? If I have it removed immediately after birth I cannot hold or breastfeed my son for weeks during the healing process (I find out more about why this afternoon when we meet with our medical team) or do I suffer through the really crappy gallbladder diet for months and take myself done at another point after I've bonded with baby at home (keep in mind my husband works hitch work in the oil patch so is gone for periods of time and I'd need to basically.move back in with my mom during healing to help with baby) I'm so confused on what to do and I'm petrified of another gallbladder attack. So painful.
