How long after your doctor said you were 2 cm did you go into labor?

36 +6 today and my doctor said I’m 2cm and 50% effaced. I know it could mean nothing...  but I’m curious when others delivered in relation!! I am a FTM.

My water broke and after 30 hours I didn’t dilate at all. Ended up having a c section. 🤷‍♀️ 
I wouldn’t put too much stock into your current progress- some women go fast, some slow.

I was 2cm at 37w and delivered at 42w.

I was 2-3cm dilated for about a month. I delivered the day before my due date.

I was 4 cm and 100% effaced for weeks . It doesn't mean anything . I still had to be induced .

A couple hours... but I hadn’t been checked for two weeks before that, so who knows how long I’d been at 2.

I was 1.5-2 cm when my water broke 🤷🏻‍♀️ had to be put on pitocin (which is the devil) and delivered 36 hours later.

I was checked a day before I went into later and was 0 cm and about 70% effaced. The next day when I went in I was already 5 cm
