When should I have my baby shower? READ DISCRIPTION!!

My first child was born at 33 weeks and I got put on bed rest at 30weeks. I am high risk for this pregnancy due to my previous preterm labor. Because of all of this when would you ladies suggest having the baby shower?

I’m having mine at 30 weeks and it’s my first pregnancy (so no known upcoming health concerns). Personally I’m trying to avoid the holiday season so people aren’t stressed with one more event to attend. Everyone has their own reasons for when they have theirs. Have it whenever works best for you! :)

I had to do mine at 26 weeks because we had to travel 1400 miles for it. Do it as early as possible so you have time to be ready to go in case you have this baby early too.

To me... Traditionally you have a baby shower during your 7th month. But can any time after that before the baby is born. If you feel the need to have a shower earlier because of a possible early birth then I would plan according to that. Or possibly wait until the baby is here.

Traditionally if you've had a baby shower already you normally don't have a second one but to each their own
