Am I trying too hard ?

I got my IUD Skyla taken out on the 9th and my fiancé and I have been trying ever since to have another child. I want a girl so bad and I ha e researching positions and what to do. And yesterday I was ovulating and we obviously had sex but I took a test and it was negative and I guess I’m just trying too hard and getting too ahead of myself. How long did it take you ladies to get pregnant after an IUD?

You won't get a positive pregnancy test until about 21 days after sex. It takes most couples several months if not a year or longer to get pregnant.

I’m on month three after mirena. Start tracking your cycle with opk’s. It took me the first 2 months to regulate and have a normal period, waiting to see if month 3 was our month but not getting my hopes up
