A bit salty... body positivity??
So everyone is always posting like “I hate my body I weigh 200lbs, 240lbs, etc” and maybe I’m just sensitive but it makes me feel like I should not like my body.
I used to weigh right at 200 lbs at my lowest weight. ⤵️

Still a ‘plus’ size 14. There was nothing wrong with my body. I weighed what I weighed and that really shouldn’t have played a part in how I felt about myself but it did.
Now at 265lbs I’m a size 16/18 and I’m okay with my body (for the most part).

It really just feels like if you are over a certain weight (ie 200lbs) then you automatically shouldn’t accept or like your body. It’s almost like because I weight *that much* then I am undeserving of self love.
Why are we like this? Why are we so cruel to ourselves that a stupid number holds that much power?

Also I’m 5’10. Height plays a role and so do genetics 🤷🏼♀️.
