my 2 older boys stopped taking daily naps when they started kinder, they are 10 & 8 and they will take a nap sometimes on the weekend.

Depends on the kid. I helped raise my youngest sisters. One stopped napping at 12 months and hasn’t napped in the 18 years since. The other one has napped pretty much every day of her 20 years.
