Single 5 day blastocyst transfer and identical twins?!

Im wondering if anyone has had a single 5 day blastocyst transferred and then ended up with identical twins?!!

We transferred a single five day blast last August and now have two beautiful, identical twin girls!! It is pretty rare; the chances are .8%! Good luck with everything!

Very low chance. I transferred two 6AA blasts and only one stuck.  Good luck to you!

I know two ladies that had this happen to personally.  Both blast transfers.  It’s rare but higher chance with ICSI and AH transfers.

I've read that they can split up to day 10 after fertilization, so it's possible but rare.

I’ve heard that if they split, it’s before they are blasts. Blasts have a pretty significant amount of cells already.
