This is our first baby and we want to cloth diaper. We have some newborn disposables for the hospital and to use while we are troubleshooting the cloth diaper process. Here is what we have so far: 1 sprayer and shield, 5 Snappis, 30 inserts, 12 large prefolds, 12 small prefolds, 24 small wipes, 24 large wipes, 13 covers, 18 pockets, and 7 all-in-ones. I work from home everyday and my husband works from home every other day because their offices are too small so we will be the ones doing the diapering. I am not exactly sure how we ended up with so many covers haha. I feel like we could use more prefolds and maybe more AIOs but I’m not sure. We will likely be washing them every other day. We only have 2 newborn size AIOs and 1 newborn size cover but I have heard that some parents don’t even get newborn size, do I need anymore of those? I don’t want to spend the money on more if we don’t need them. Baby will likely be over 8lbs when born if that matters. If you can think of anything I’m missing please let me know!
