How long did you wait to have sex after vaginal birth ? 🙄🤨

The minimum is 6 weeks or when the doctor clears you no matter what kind of deliver you had. There’s a large open wound in your uterus from where the placenta was attached and your cervix needs time to heal and close. Having sex sooner puts you at an increased risk of infection and hemorrhage.

With our first, probably 8 weeks. Second, maybe 2-3 weeks. I’m 2 weeks PP now and I don’t know how long we will wait

6 weeks to the day (which was my PP appt) with #1 which was a csection. The end of 7 weeks with #2 which was a vbac. I never do it before 6 weeks because risk of infection, tearing stitches, more pain and pregnancy aren’t worth it.

5 months 😂😂😂 I was so scared. Everything down there was still hurting when I’d sit certain ways and putting a tampon in was really painful so I waited an extra long time.
