Is ppa possible instead of ppd??

I’ve been getting a ton a anxiety lately, and I’m wondering if postpartum anxiety is possible? I’m not depressed really at all. It’s just my anxiety is through the roof sometimes. It it possible to be related to postpartum?

Yep. My anxiety was much much worse after giving birth. Be honest with your doctor. I literally felt like everyone was going to kidnap my baby so I couldn’t function at all.

Yes, I had and still do to some extent ppa. I never really experienced anxiety before but I knew that’s what it was. I also never had ppd though I’ve heard ppa cause turn into ppd.

I had really bad pp anxiety after My first. I waited till I was a year out before getting on meds, and I wish sooo badly that I had gone in earlier. It made such a difference. Definitely talk to your doc!
