C section during the evening?

My doctor just informed me she schedules c sections for 4:30 in the evening. Has anyone had one scheduled like this before? She said I can eat at 6 am the morning of

I was supposed to book a c section for 39 weeks but my water broke at 37 weeks, I went in at about 10 pm and it took awhile to run tests and get things ready but I went in to the OR at about 130 am. I had a later dinner at like 8 pm and they didn’t care at all, I wasn’t getting contractions so they thought about just having me come back in the morning for it but I guess there was a spot open in the middle of the night so they squeezed me in!

My 2nd was scheduled for 3pm and didn't end up having her until 5:26pm because of an emergency with the Dr.

Mine was supposed to be at 8:30 am so I hadn’t eaten since the night before... I kept getting pushed back because of emergency c sections and so I finally went in at 3:30pm. I was hungry, but mostly nervous, so hardly noticed!!

I wish! That means you can eat early in the morning! 😂
I had to wait so long to eat, because mine was at noon. 😅
