This is my first baby with Celiac (I have Type 1 diabetes for 22 years) though it’s not my first autoimmune disease it is the first that I’ve been told to prepare for a tiny baby. I will be induced at 37 weeks for the diabetes issues (high risk of placenta failure due to much sugar passing over the placenta making it deteriorate quicker). Because of the type 1 my MFM told me be prepared for a 5-5.5 lbs baby at 37 weeks (my last 2 children were 6 and 6.9 lbs at 37-38 weeks). For those who have celiac did you have a “small” baby (average birth size is 8-9 lbs at 40 weeks)?
