Does the second csection hurt more?

I had my daughter 20 months ago and I’m pregnant with a baby boy I’m 20 weeks on Monday. Will this csection hurt more?

I don’t know if it will hurt more, but it will definitely be more complex due to scar tissue from your previous surgery. Is there a reason they want you to have a second c section?

My second csection was a walk in the park compared to my first. It was a really great experience. It was over within half an hour, I went home the next day, dropped my son off at preschool on my way and started vacuuming once I got home. I probably shouldn’t have but I just felt so good. I also never needed to take any pain medications, not even a Tylenol.

I don’t know, but I have heard there is more healing time after though. I will more than likely have to have another cesarean also. I had my first bc I was not progressing after 4cm due to scar tissue in my cervix from a peep procedure when so was 19, had daughter at age 29! But, was turned emergency bc they claimed I had a panic attack, I couldn’t breathe and I was trying to get help. They knocked me out. Later learning my kidneys had shut down and I was being crushed from the weight of the fluid in my body. But, I have had a kidney and pancreas transplant. So I have a kidney just over my left ovary and a pancreas attached to my lower colon. I do t think they will let me have a vaginal birth as my organs are there and can’t get damaged.

I’ve had 2 C-sections and my second was just over a year ago and the pain at first was quite similar to my first, but seemed to go away faster

I recovered really well 2nd pregnancy quick no problems 3 rd was tricky but unsure if that’s cause I laboured trying for vbac for 12 hours b4 they realised my scar was tearing so much pain , took me 13 weeks to recover then I got preg 11 weeks pp and about to deliver this time has to be planned section in next 3 weeks dreading it

My second was a breeze, up and walking around as soon as the catheter was out and I could feel my legs, also forgot to fill my pain med prescription so didn't take any and was still easier then the first! I'm due for my 3rd on the 22/10/2018.  All I can say is the quicker you get moving the easier recovery is and the less pain you have!

My second c section was a little easier, i didn’t have much pain as my first and I was surprised I didn’t have to take that much pain meds.. we are planning for a fourth baby after our little one turns 1 and I’m pretty sure it will result in a scheduled c section again just hope the pain isn’t bad

Recovery will be harder the second time around. I remember with my first I was up and moving hours later and with the second I couldn't even sit for more than 10 minutes and with the 3csection welp yeah no. No way in hell could I even move which resulted in blood clots. Keep in mind the first cut was a lot easier this time around they have to go through tissues scar.  my doctor told me my previous doctor did a terrible job With putting me back properly so it took time to get in there
