Help with blanket/quilt idea??!!
Alright so I have this idea for how I want to make a blanket for my baby due in December and I need help figuring out the best way to make it.
The concept for the blanket is like what I've learned is called a fusion quilt or blanket. I want to make squares with fleece and crochet around the edges of the squared to make kind of granny squares to sew together with a joining technique. I'm trying to figure out if I should be sewing the squares closed and using 2 squares of fabric like with quilting, or figure out a single square option for the squares because I think I might want to do a solid piece of fleece lining the back so it's extra warm and also so baby doesn't get caught in the crochet as easily. I found a couple different resources but haven't found a good answer to my question yet so if anyone has any input please comment!
