Where does your baby (4m-12m) sleep

Question

Not including newborns because many people have them sleep with them in same room - but I am looking for data after that newborn stage 
But where is baby sleeping now that baby is more mature?

American Pediatrics association recommends baby sleeps in parents room for 12 months to reduce sids..  or at least for 6 months.  That is what my husband and I plan to do.

Even tho its recommended to have baby in same room till 12 months that wont be the case for us.
As soon as baby is able to lift head baby will be moved to their own room.  And while in our room for the first few months baby will sleep in bassinet only.
I am worried to start co sleeping and then having a hard time transitioning.
I see many of my friends sleep with their babies because in the beginning they started and couldn't get out of that routine
Maybe I am selfish but I need my sleep.  Both my husband and I were put in our cribs week one...  I will get a good monitor but I think it's important for the couple to have their own space

out little one won't be here until next month but my son slept in bed with us from 2 weeks until 4 years. He's 9 now and if it wasn't for me being with my fiance, he'd prob still sleep in my bed. This go around, no co sleeping for us. She'll prob be in our room until she sleeps longer thru the night and then swap her to her own room
