Pls help

Tin (Scientist mama, first time mom)

Me n my husband went to Samoa for 6 days (from 22nd to 27th July) and on the 3rd day I got cold n flue. Looked like normal cold as I did a lot of swimming. I did enjoy the trip with fever as we had only 5 days, when I came back, I had yellow thick nasal mucus and no cough. Towards the end of the trip (4-5thday) my husband got cold n flue too. After we arrived in NZ on 27th July, I had my period. My husband's flue went away between 1-3 August.

My ovulation was between 7-9 August according to three apps. So we babydanced from 4th to 10th August.

Fast forward to end of the month and I got to know that im pregnant( found out 24th August, as I was three days late for my period and did a strip test n it came poisitive). We were both so happy.

Today I met my GP and she asked whether I travelled to any pacific country during last three months n had cold/flue. I said yes and told that my husband n I got flue. Then she asked to tell that specially to maternity clinic, and put an asteric infront ofZika virus. After that Ive been reading about sika virus and it is adviced to wait for three months before ttc if u had zika virus. So pls help me with following queries as im so worried now.

1. How do I know whether me n my husband had zika virus? I had yellow thick mucus and it is different from normal cold I got in previous times. My husband n I had flue vaccine before winter.

2. Im 4 weeks 3 days pregnant according to the app and is there any way that I can know if virus had affected the embryo?

Me and my husband are so worried atm and we even discussed terminating the pregnancy just to sure. Please do not get us wrong. This is what we hv been waiting for ages as I suffered from vaginusmus for 5 years and got it fixed in May 2018. My heart is broken n please help me to understand this.

Thank you.
