Who told you that? 4 days? They give you 6 weeks to heal for a reason. I would say personally most my heavy bleeding was done after 2 weeks but I still spotted bright red blood. I’m almost 5 weeks postpartum and I still spot

I’m almost 3 weeks and it’s still going. The past two days it’s been lighter, more brown but extremely slimy too. We are still healing right now.

I'm bleeding the same way, sometimes heavier and darker, at 5 days pp, my doctor said it can continue for over a month and be normal.
