When does your childs dad get the kids?

I have a almost 2 year old and 6 month old and i dont know what to do..i dont know how a decent scedule looks like

I would say it depends on a few things.. how involved is he? How close does he live? What's his work schedule like? Does he have childcare if hell be working when having the kids? My daughters dad gets her every other weekend from Friday evening to Sunday evening but he also works alot and lives a few hours away so he cant take her to school or anything like that.

We get my step daughter (she’s a toddler) once or twice a week for a few hours if her dad gets off at a decent time plus All weekend (Friday night to Sunday afternoon)

My partner has his daughter Wednesday after he gets off work until Saturday evening, as he's off Thursday through Saturday. He also has her Monday evenings, because her mother can't handle having to be a parent for more than a day and a half at a time 🙄
But when I was growing up with divorced parents, my dad had us every other weekend, and when he lived close by he took us to school on Monday morning and typically got us for dinner one night of his off week. 
The every other weekend thing is a pretty typical visitation schedule per court, but you can always work out a more generous schedule.

The father of my kiddo left when i was pregnant i did it all alone..if he tried to come back now..he can take me to court and try and fight for his rights to see her...she 8 now..
