Anyone elses hubby/SO/BFnot like making out?

I’ve been with my guy a year, and all he ever does is “smooch.” I tell him I want a good kiss(his tongue is pierced twice and it is so hot) but all he does is gives me a longer, harder smooch. Like pushing his lips harder into mine. I have explained to him numerous times how much kissing turns me on and sometimes I would just love to make out and not even have sex. When he does try to give me some tongue, it’s like kissing a hissing snake. He says he just doesn’t really like making out. But I miss it so much it’s been over a year since I’ve actually made out with someone. Any suggestions on how I could encourage him or try to help him feel more comfortable with kissing me more passionately?
