Positive hpt but negative blood test?!

Question

I’ve taken 3 hpt, all with a faint line. Yesterday I went to the doctor to get a blood test. It came back negative. I had brown spotting a week after my period was due. The nurse said that it was my period. But im still having vvfl on tests. Has this happened to anyone? What should I do?
These are the tests from Saturday to Monday.

This morning

All lines showed up within the time frame so it’s not an evap.

I took a test on frer. Got a bright positive. Went and had blood work the same day and it was negative.
But I was pregnant!!
My bloodwork was a 4.9... Under a 5 is clinically negative. Took a digital 36 hours later and got my bfp.

Hmm did you have the spotting after the faint lines? Sounds like maybe a chemical. But with your period late then the lines wouldn’t be so faint.

The blood test would have picked it up they are more accurate then home test..id say a chemical.
