Having signs of preeclampsia but no high blood pressure?

So basically , im a ftm and so when things happen to me and i tell somebody they kind of shrug it off as I just don’t know whats going on because im new to this 🤷🏽‍♀️. Well the only things ive ever heard of preeclampsia were just high blood pressure and protein in the urine until an app that i have on my phone told me to watch out for other signs which included , blurry vision , headaches , swelling in extremities and nausea. I’ve been having all those symptoms except for the classic high blood pressure (haven’t done a UA to check for protein so i have no idea). My question is , can you have preeclampsia without having high blood pressure or thats basically the only sign ??

Ya, those sound mostly just like pregnancy symptoms. I had blurry vision almost all of my pregnancy. Along with nausea. Doesnt hurt to bring it up to the doctor though.

The other symptoms are typical pregnancy symptoms. 
I had preeclampsia with my first, I didnt have headaches or blurry vision. I did have nausea and vomiting the whole pregnancy, and I had extreme swelling (to the point of if I pushed in on my skin it would take a minute for the indent to go away). But I also had protein in my urine and very high BP (around 150/90-175/98).
My second pregnancy I had occational blurry vision, headaches, nausea and swelling, but no preeclampsia. 
This pregnancy I've had the occasional high BP (not too bad tho) and I do have some protein in my urine (not enough to diagnose preeclampsia yet) so I'm going to be watched closer for preeclampsia again. I also have nausea and occasional headaches.

I got preeclampsia my first pregnancy, and I knew something was wrong 10 days before my urine showed Protein— never let someone ELSE tell you what you are or are not feeling.
Having said that, the swelling I experienced was EXTREME, all day, and in areas that don’t normally swell in pregnancy (my face, my hands to the point o could barely bend them) I also got pitting edema (google it for some gross fun!) up to my knees, all before my protein came back. I gained 11 lbs of water weight the final 2 weeks of my pregnancy (1 week home bedrest, 1 week hospitalized) it was really over the top.
My BP crept up slowly from late 2nd trimester but was not really alarming until I was hospitalized at 36 weeks. I was able to deliver without ever going on magnesium largely because I agreed to lay very still for days and days until I was induced. 
Protein wasn’t present at all until I was hospitalized (10 days after serious symptoms began) and I didn’t get a formal diagnosis until my second day in antepartum, before that it was just “pregnancy hypertension”.
I can’t fully articulate it but I just knew something was really wrong, I felt it, and I kept pressing to be monitored. 
The thing about preeclampsia is that it progresses, ALWAYS. If you are going to get it, you BP will rise, you will get protein in your urine, and you and baby are NOT at risk from complications of PreE until those things happen so the best thing you can do is ask to be monitored (or go to a pharmacy that has the pressure check stations!) weekly and wait and see. There is nothing you can do before those things happen and generally, once they begin to happen delivery is imminent so the goal is to hang on at LEAST until 34 weeks to give baby the best chance of no NICU time.

Those other symptoms are actually pretty much just normal pregnancy symptoms. Pre-e will have high BP and protein in urine.
