34 weeks and 2cm dilated already?!

Question

Today I started bleeding pretty heavily and went into be checked, nurse was pretty surprised I am already 2cm so early & was having steady contractions. Doctors decided I busted a blood vessel and sent me home, said to try and make it a couple more weeks. This happened to anyone before? What was the outcome! This is baby #2 for me.

I was 2 cm dilated for a month before I had my son at 38 weeks.

I was at 1 cm at 34 weeks with my first. I ended up being 3+ cm for over a month before I finally went into labor a few days before my due date. The day before contractions started, my doctor stripped my membranes because I was 5 cm.

My sister in law was dilated to 4cm for at least a month with her second baby and still had to be induced eventually. Good luck! Hopefully baby stays put a little while longer ❤️

A friend of mine was 2-3cm dialated for a week before her baby was born (on due date). Try to take it easy and not worry. If your dr is concerned they will have you go to the hospital or bedrest.

I'm 34 weeks to, and im so envious that you're dilating! I've been having irregular contractions and some bleeding that sent me to L&D a few days ago, but I'm not the slightest dilated. For babies sake I hope you make it to 37 weeks though. This is also my second  but I can't offer any personal experiences, sorry!
