Pregnancy teas

Hi. I went to healthy options store and found this box of organic pregnancy tea. It says that it helps the uterus to get ready for the baby inside. I drank two teabags and I observed everytime I drink, I had like cramping at my lower abdomen. I am on my 16 weeks of pregnancy. Can anyone tell me why is that so? Thanks
