Does preclampsia come suddenly?

I’m 33 weeks and today I was taking a shower and I opened my eyes and there was just these black spots moving around in my vision, the best way to describe it was like a hallucination or something. I’ve always had good blood pressure but should I get it checked out? I also got very very lightheaded today and almost passed out

It comes on fast yes. I was fine one week and blood pressure was thru the roof the next

It can come in anytime after the 20th week of pregnancy.  Call your dr, good luck

I’d talk to your doctor but I get black floaters in my vision daily. Last time I had my blood pressure checked it was borderline hypertensive, which is high but I was also nervous the day of my appointment.

Sounds like an ocular migraine which is a common symptom of high BP. And, yes, preeclampsia can come on fast.
Please call you OB ASAP!

Maybe go to a drug store where they have BP machines and check! But a lot of the time headaches come on with it. I wiuld definitely mention the black spots and really watch how you are feeling. If something feels off just call and be seen its always better to be safe!! ❤❤❤
