So... in the beginning of my pregnancy my partner and I were very excited. He left me about a month ago (I am almost 20 weeks now) and says he’s still going to be in our child’s life... he hasn’t been here for me during this pregnancy... he got me pregnancy pops when I was around 5 weeks to help with nausea but hasn’t done anything since (we don’t live together so he never checks on me) I’m wondering if I should give my child my last name since I’ll be the primary provider and it’ll be easier on papers? I’ve been thinking ahead and doing everything... buying a crib, diapers, pacifiers, toys, etc. and he hasn’t done anything... I’m sure he’ll be mad if I give the child my last name but at this point I think it’ll be easier for me since I’ll be the primary provider anyways.
