What do you think?

I'm sorry I'm advance for how long this is...

I'm a soon to be single parent and am considered "low income".

I work full time at a daycare center. My child can attend that center for $400/month with the discount that I receive.

If I apply for child care assistance, which I am guaranteed, I will only have to pay a portion of that. At other centers it comes out to about $100/month. At my center, I would pay more, probably about 200-300/month.

The other centers are the same company and 5 minutes from my home. My current center is about 15 minutes from my home.

My question is should I pay the extra money (that I probably can't afford) or send my baby to a different center (that I can afford)?

I would be losing out on seeing my child throughout the day, and if my child got sick I would have to go pick them up and go home Vs. Giving them medicine and continuing on with my day until my shift is over (which we typically do at my center).

This is a tough situation and I need to do what's best for me and my baby..

I'm sorry this is so long, but what do you think I should do?
