If you take a newbie camping

I don’t care if it’s your friend or girlfriend/boyfriend make sure to give that person tips.

Reason being is that I went camping with my boyfriend and his friends and their girlfriends and one of them was like super girly type, hair bleach blonde. Never catch her without makeup. Not that this is necessarily bad and not that I assumed anything of her. I thought she was gorgeous. But,

One night the guys are all outside drinking and she comes to our tent and keep in mind I barely know this girl. This girl in the real world would not be my friend. And she’s like.. “hey like.. you got stuff for rashes?” And then she comes in and she’s like “oh my god do you have Benadryl, do you have anything” and I said “yes but what happened?”

“I went pee a wiped with a leaf and I think it was poison ivy so now I have poison ivy all over my butt and vagina please help me. Please please” I gave her calamine lotion and she just gets up and leaves with it lol. She comes back and sits down and says “can I just take this”

Me: “girl you need it more than me. Here’s some baby wipes and toilet paper. Also here’s facial wipes because you’re sweating your makeup off and it’s smeared” and she starts crying. Usually I’d laugh but I was looking this girl in the eye and lort she was struggling. I wanted to cry for her.

She tells me she’s never been camping and not an outside person and thought you could just wipe your butt with whatever leaves and I’m like no girl.. no girl no. Bring tp and If youre absolutely desperate pay attention to your leaf picking😭 she also said she peed on her legs because she doesn’t know how to pee outside on the ground. She’s like miserable. I told her to tell her bf what happened and try to leave early to go to the doctor because I’d personally rather die than be in this heat sweaty with a poison ivy pussy😧. That girl stayed there the entire time and just SUFFERED in silence to make her bf happy. I walked with her to the river and we just sat in the water to give her relief. I was like girl you’re stronger than me I’d be in tears you’re insane. Then I explained how to pee outside without peeing on yourself.

Her bf had like no idea and did not prepare her poor soul for the outdoor camping life. She just wanted her bf to be happy.

Tell these uncamped peoples. Prepare them 😭 so they don’t get poison ivy butt.
