3D SCAN???

Am I the only one that hates the look of 3D scans I think it makes babies look horrible and plus I want it to be a nice surprise to meet my little girl and see her little face for the first time in flesh when she's born.

I just got one with my current pregnancy and never did with my previous pregnancies. This is my last baby and said, “Why not?” 🤷🏼‍♀️ I thought the whole experience was awesome and well worth it.

I won’t be getting one done. Want to limit exposure, but my husband always says that he thinks all babies look the same in those scans. I don’t think that, but clearly he doesn’t pay much attention to detail 😂

It made everything feel real for me knowing I have a little boy in there with a face! haha they can be super creepy if done when baby doesnt have any fat on them lol

I love it, I couldnt wait to see her face. I was hoping to see that she looks like her daddy. She definitely got his lips. I wont post the picture since you dont like them, but it was fun. My niece has wanted another girl in the family for years, my cousins girl is a total Tom boy, so she was pretty happy when we told her. Her mom said she smiled like

But less evil lol. She ended up loving seeing her move, of course it was so early in the morning, baby girl was still sleepy so she mostly yawned. It was fun for me, but definitely not for everyone.

I love them, and I’ll never truly regret getting the late 3D Scan with my son, but I remember after he was born I was like ugh, why did u spend that money when I could have just waited? lol so this time I’m waiting. Like you I want her face to be a surprise :)

Yeah I think they make all the babies look exactly the same for some reason.. my 3rd ultrasound at my doc has a 3D/4D portion so I’m doing it since it’s included but I definitely would never pay for one

I don't find them freaky but I also feel like they all look the same. I definitely don't feel like I know what my daughter will look like from those scans (thankfully I didn't pay extra, the main machine my doctor uses can do 3D).

I personally loved ours. And I knew my husband loved our little girl to begin with, but afterwards he said “I’m glad we did that. It just made me fall so in love with her even more.” and that alone was worth it for me because obviously pregnancy is so different for the fathers than the mothers. I think it made him feel that much closer to her.
