What’s your opinion on a female asking a male to marry her?

So me and my partner have been together for almost 3 years, we live together (have since day 1) and we recently had a beautiful baby girl and do plan to have number 2 by the time she’s 2. What’s your opinion on a female asking a male to marry her? And how would I do it?
I’m so madly in love with him and his told me he wants to marry me but he has anxiety and is scared too ask.

Thank you to the lovely ladies who have left a positive input. I am beyond in love with my partner and I honestly couldn’t picture my life without him. We’ve been through so so much in the past 3 years, from having a miscarriage at 7 weeks, being homeless together, moving states together twice, now renting our own house and have an 11 week old daughter. His given me the life I’ve always wanted. So I believe I’m going to ask him on our 3 year anniversary which isn’t too far away.

GO FOR IT DUDE. How unfeminist for women to think a man is a “hunter” and it’s job. The love goes both ways. You’re no prey or a trophy to be won. If you love this wonderful man then there is nothing wrong with claiming your love and asking for forever. It’s absolutely beautiful not thirsty. I’m sorry some people have such closed minded thoughts.

Go for it! I asked my bf out because he was too shy and he’s the nicest guy I’ve ever met. He’s masculine in all the right ways he’s just introverted and NOT in any way a womanizer. If he doesn’t propose to me I would propose to him.

I don’t judge people who do and you should do whatever you feel is right. But from what I hear, most guys don’t like it. Also, a lot of guys will mention marriage and whatnot but actually have no intention of marrying you and if they do, not anytime soon. Personally, I’d save myself the embarrassment and not ask.
