Second baby. Girl this time. Should I have a baby shower?

So we where planning a baby shower but now I don't feel up to it. Sounds like a lot of work SO sister did my sons and said she would host this one but I feel like it's a lot of work and money. Neither my boyfriend or myself are working we are moving hours away and just sold our house. Baby shower was planned for a few  days before out house  closes. It seems stressful and I'm not sure if we should go through with it.

This is my second and I’m having a girl after having a son first and I’m not having one. We still have all the big stuff and so when people ask me if I need anything I just say a pack of nappies or breast pads/maternity pads for me. I know people will buy little girl outfits but I didn’t think a shower was necessary this time around for us anyway.

I think it depends on how close in age your kids are. With my second I had a sprinkle or just clothes and diapers because we had all the big stuff and she was not a he.
With this one I am having a shower because it’s been 7 years and we thought we were done. So we kept nothing.

Its 50/50 with the votes right now 22 ppl for each haha But my mom had my brother and then a few years later my sister and she had a 'Sprinkle' instead of a Shower and it was small and fun and she got some cute girly things, obviously people have registries you wont need anything big if u have it and just put things like toys books and clothes or whatever else you want that is girly like a bedding set and theme for a nursery or whatever but I think if u are having the opposite gender you deserve something

I voted before reading what you wrote, I say if you aren't up for it then you shouldn't feel pressured to have one. Just do what feels best for you.
