Breast Lump

I am 19, nearly 20. Starting from the beginning... about a year and a half ago I developed a small peanut shaped lump on my right breast. I went to my obgyn where she sent me for an ultra sound. Misunderstanding what I was feeling the radiologist just told me I was too hormonal and sent me on.

A year later (present) the lump is painful and has grown with swelling in my breast as well. I went back for another ultrasound to discover a mass that is “probably” benign. I do not like the words probably and decided I didn’t want to wait the 6 months for another checkup so I have scheduled a biopsy for this Wednesday.

I know the chances of having breast cancer at my age is very very slim but I am still very scared. I was posting this in the hopes of some support and good words/vibes.

I will post an update to this once I get the pathology back from the doctors.
