Does he like me??

I’m so confused. this guy is so hard to read. so basically i like him. and i think he likes me but i don’t get him or understand how he thinks. he sends ❤️😘😍😉☺️ all that and has now started calling me cute and texts me all the time but what i don’t get is i walked up to him and his 2 friends, who are also my good friends and none of them even acknowledged that i was there. so i walked away. after the next period i saw the guy again let’s call him a. my best friend has the locker right above him and i was with her. he came and he was like are you stalking me now with the CUTEST smile on his face it killed me and i said no haha and my friend sara and i walked away. Guys help me!! What do i do. how do we talk more. does he like me. ??? help!!!
